About Ocean Lotus Farm
Ocean Lotus Farm is a 85 acres rolling hill property, located at northeastern Pennsylvia, about 2 1/2 hours from New York city, 2 hours from Philadephia, 4 hours from Washington DC, and 5 hours from Pittsburgh. It was developed as a dairy farm, with a barn and silo to raise cows and store hay, spring-filled ponds and acres of hay field. Its farmhouse has a history of at least 150 years. In 1985, the family of Rowland purchased the property, improved and remodeled the house, and opened Ponda Rowland Bed and Breakfast Inn. Yuh-Hai and Hui-Lien bought the 50 acres including the house in 2002. In 2005, Hui-Lien's sister bought the other 35 acres across the street, which includes the barn, silo and ponds, as an effort to conserve its natural beauty and tranquility.
